Long-awaited Bhama-Askhed water supply line will start in the new year. The line will be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis on 1st January.
Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol said, “The Bhama-Askhed water supply line will help to solve the problem in the eastern area of the city. Nearly 12 lakh population will get benefits from this. It will also reduce the load on the Lashkar water supply line. The inauguration ceremony will be held at municipal corporation’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sabhagruh in the new building and only invitees can attend the ceremony.”
